Johnny B. Stewart, a resident of Midland City, was called home on Saturday, May 16, 2015. He was 84.

Funeral services will be held Thursday May 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Donnivan Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 5-7 pm.

Johnny B. Stewart was born November 15, 1930 to the late Mr. Willie and Ruby Stewart in Pike County, AL. He was an active Deacon at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Midland City, AL until his health failed him.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 62 years, Mrs. Annie Marie Stewart. To this union was born 5 children, Johnny Ray Stewart, Atlanta, GA, Ann (George) Baker, LaGrange, GA, Snowdie (Robert) Jones, Midland City, AL, Bobby (Jackie) Stewart, Midland City, AL, and Willie B. Stewart who preceded him in death. He had 2 sisters, Mrs. Willie Pearl Carroll, Midland City, AL and Mrs. Mae Lizie Beacham, Headland, AL; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
