DOTHAN. . .Jolene Newsome Bryant, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday, February 10, 2022, at her home. She was 42.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30  P.M. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with eulogies to be given by family members. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at the mortuary in Headland. Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.

Jolene Bryant was born in Panama City and was raised in Daleville, Alabama. She lived in Lubbock, Texas before moving to Dothan in 2013. Jolene was preceded in death by her mother, Faylene Grantham Costelloe.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Bridget Bryant, Dothan; and Maranda Bryant, Ozark; a son, Michael Bryant, Jr., her father, Joe Terrell Newsome, two sisters, Ann Costelloe and Angie Costelloe, and two brothers, Donnie Costelloe and Joe Buck Newsome; six grandchildren, Bentley Chandler, Landon Chandler, Carson Chandler, Jaxon Corley, Kameron Chandler and Tucker Chandler; several nieces and nephews.
