Jonas Dawayne "Scotty" Messick 61 of Elba, AL departed this life Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at his residence in Elba, Alabama.  Funeral services will be held from Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Travis Meeks  and Rev. Scott Donaldson officiating.  Committal services will follow in the Pine Level Community Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Survivors include:  Son - Ryder Hocutt, Troy, AL, Brother - Rex Messick, Elba, AL,

He was preceded in death by his Parents - Wayne & Sue Messick, and Brother - Ricky Messick. 

Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Messick family.
