Jonathan Gabriel Givens, a resident of Midland City, AL passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at his residence. He was 42 years old.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Quincey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sunset to assist with funeral expenses.

Gabe was born June 13, 1976 in Houston County and lived his entire life in Dothan and Midland City. He was a 1994 graduate of Dale County High School and was employed in parts and sales with Western Star and Boyd’s Marine until his medical retirement. Gabe loved to fish and hunt and was an Alabama Football fan. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling with his daughter on the family land. He was preceded in death by his sister, Heather Givens Littlefield.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Michelle Givens; his parents, Al and Corine Givens; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
