Joseph "Odell" Lomaneck, 42, of Ozark passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 1pm Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Odell was born November 1, 1971 in Bartow, Florida and spent most of his life living in Dale County, Alabama. He was employed with Road Mart and Jim Whaley Tires and also owned and operated his own sheet rock business. He lived to go fishing and hunting, drinking sweet tea, and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Lomaneck, his grandmother Mary Lomaneck, and his brother-in-law Billy Strickland.

Survivors include his wife Cindy Lomaneck and their son Joseph "JoJo" Lomaneck; his first wife Angela Lomaneck and their children Justin Lomaneck and Rebecca "Leann" Lomaneck; a grandchild Marcus Lomaneck; his mother Annie Lou Lomaneck; a brother Jimmy Lomaneck, Jr.; a sister Lizzie Strickland; a nephew Josh (Lisa) Strickland; nieces, Mileah Lomaneck and Magan Strickland.
