Funeral services will be held 11 am on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Joshua Todd McCartha passed away on May 20, 2022. He was 38 years old.
The family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Park Funeral Home in the reception center from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Joshua was born to Rex “Todd” McCartha and Martell Tyre on April 22, 1984, in Dale County where he spent his early years. He graduated from G.W. Long High School in 2002, after graduating he became a lineman and was employed at Seal Communications till 2017. At the time of his passing Joshua worked as a lead foreman broadband technician resource. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Enterprise.
Joshua was a music man he enjoyed playing his guitar especially southern rock and country music. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was grilling or smoking food for his family, hiking, or fishing. He was an avid Alabama Football fan.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ingrid and Allen Tyre.
In addition to his parents, Joshua is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Polly; his children, Hunter Polly, Jessie (Anthony Sr.) Warren, Lily Grace Polly; his 2 grandchildren, Ella Beth Warren and Anthony Warren Jr; his sister, Savannah (Destini) McCartha; 2 nieces, Payton Godbold and Ryleigh Harrington, and a host of extended family and friends.
