Joy Jabreka Lucas Warren, 34, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home with Elder David E. Reddick officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Joy was born October 17, 1978 in Enterprise, AL and lived in Ozark most of her life. She was a 1996 graduate of Carroll High School and received her associate degree from Enterprise State Junior College. She graduated from Jacksonville State University with a BS and Masters in Counseling. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her parents Jimmy and Agnes Lucas of Ozark; a sister Empress Hope Lucas of Dothan; her grandmother Beatrice Miller; uncles and aunts, Willie Charles Lucas, Alice (Nick) Merrewether, Bernice (Sylvester) Williams, Audry (Regina) Lucas, Mary Gamble, Mattie McLendon, Barbara (Levi) Coleman, Willie Mae Jones, Roy Harper, Verlon Baker, Gertrude Miller, and Blanche Lucas; a host of other relativities and friends.
