There will be a memorial service at Searcy Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Ben Bowden officiating. The family wants to celebrate their mother’s life. Joyce was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Enterprise and for many years she served on various committees as well as teaching Four-year old Primary Sunday School. Also she loved her friends in her Sunday School Class and attended church faithfully until her sickness.
She was a charter member of Enterprise Arts Alliance, as well as the Enterprise Country Club. She was well known in the Wiregrass as an avid painter and flower designer. She was also a member of a small group of friends, fondly known as ‘The First Grade’. She loved her friends dearly and never missed a time to be with them.
Our mother was faithful to the Lord all of her life. We are thankful to have had her faithfulness and love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Oscar Brock and her parents, Dr. and Mrs. C. M. Capps.
Survivors include her daughter, Becky Brock Wiggins (Danny) Enterprise; granddaughters, Elizabeth Chandler Fulton, Enterprise; Holley Brock Aaron (Preston) Ft. Benning, GA; great-grandchildren, Cody Preston Aaron and Emma Grace Fulton.
The family of Joyce Brock would gratefully like to thank Hartford Health Care Nurses and Staff and the continuous loving care by special friends, Annie Jones and Joyce Dorsey.
