Joyce Chambliss Ellison, 85, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama where she graduated from Ensley High School. Joyce was married to Albert (Tony) Ellison for 36 years. They raised four children together. She lived in many places including, Santa Clara, CA; Metlacatla, AK; Huntsville, AL; Fremont, CA; and Dothan, AL and made many friends.

She is survived by her four children, Brenda Ellison Fincher (Jerry), Randall Luther Ellison (Vicky) of Texas, Brian Craig Ellison (Chery) of California, and Patricia C. Ellison Byers (Dave) of California; and a brother, Charles Chambliss (Lois) of Texas. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren all of whom were incredibly blessed by the love she shared with them.

A memorial service will be held 6 pm Thursday September 1, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park. Another memorial service will be held in California for the family and friends in California.
