Juanita Mills Morris passed away Friday, December 19, 2014. She was 102.
A graveside service will be held Monday, December 22 at 11 AM at Memory Hill Cemetery with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating.
Mrs. Morris was born December 13, 1912 in Red Level, Al, the daughter of Rufus Napoleon Mills and Lula Belle Wesley Mills. She was valedictorian of Red Level High School, attended Livingston State Teacher’s College and Troy Normal (now Troy University). In her early years she taught in Dale County. She later taught in Dothan at Young Junior High School and Girard Middle School. She was active member of First Baptist Church for over 70 years.
Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband W. Dan Morris and an infant grandson Daniel Mills Morris.
Survivors are a daughter Sue Morris Dunseth (Chuck) and son W. Dan Morris Jr. (Alice) all of Dothan; five grandchildren Sandy Dunseth Hausler (Andrew) of Signal Mountain, TN; Paul Dunseth (Christie) of Dothan; Robin Dunseth Thomas (Lee) of Columbia, SC; Webb Morris (Lindsey) of Smyrna, GA and Will Morris of Dothan. Eight great-grandchildren, Sam and Sarah Hausler, Daisy and Paul Dunseth Jr., Mills and Bay Thomas, Grayson and Hudson Morris.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund or a favorite charity.
The family is so thankful for the many who have cared and loved.
