OBITUARY
HOLMAN ABBEVILLE MORTUARY
JUANITA TURNER GRANTHAM
BAKER HILL….Juanita Turner Grantham, a resident of Baker Hill, died Thursday, September 19, 2013, in a Dothan hospital. She was 83.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 21, 2013, in the Friendly Assembly of God Church, near Texasville, with Reverend Ronnie Benefield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday in the Friendly Assembly of God Church sanctuary.
Mrs. Grantham, daughter of the late James Arby (Bud) Turner and Helen Stanley Turner, was a native of Henry County near Lawrenceville. She lived in Baker Hill most of her lifetime and was a member of Friendly Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Grantham was preceded in death by her husband, Tump Grantham; a son, Eddie Grantham; two brothers, Robert Turner and John Edward Turner; her step-mother, Katherine Champion Turner.
Surviving relatives include six daughters, Jessie Faircloth, Statesboro, GA; Jackie Nolin (Rocky), Texasville; Joan Green (Gary), Baker Hill; Joyce Shaw, Baker Hill; Joann Shirah (Charles), Blue Springs and Mary Lois Bell, Baker Hill; a son, Dan Grantham (Gail), Abbeville; six sisters, Willie Nell Cordell, Texasville; Martha Blankenship (Jack), Abbeville; Barbara Cochran (Johnny), Abbeville; Linda Bradley (Bobby), Abbeville; Kathreen Reakes, Carabelle, FL., and Gloria Faircloth, Carabelle, FL; a brother, James Earl Turner (Martha), Abbeville; twelve grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Jacob Hendrix, Tony Hendrix, Israel Green, Grady Smith, Zachery Smith and Grady Whiddon.
