Judith Ann Dingus, 81, a resident of Dothan passed away December 16, 2015 at a local nursing home.


Memorial services will be held 4pm Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allie Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.


Mrs. Dingus was born June 26, 1934 in Etowah, Tennessee and she resided the early years of her life in Longview, Texas. Mrs. Dingus was a 1956 graduate of North Texas State College with a degree in elementary education. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Kuykendall who died in 1990 and her second husband, Hubert Dingus. Mrs. Dingus resided in Shalimar Florida before moving to Dothan in 2005. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Dingus was a member of the PEO, First United Methodist Church.


Survivors include, her daughters, Kathy (Eric) Stephenson, Karen (Eric) Stiegmann and Linda (Mark) Maccabe; her grandchildren, Casey Stiegmann, Mitchell (Lauren) Stephenson, William Maccabe, Carter Stiegmann, Kendall Stephenson, Molly (Ross) Fuller and Lindsey Stephenson; her great-grandchild, Hank Fuller.
