Ms. Judith “Judy” Cohn of Coffee Springs, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, March9, 2023 at Wiregrass Medical Center after a long battle with many illnesses. She was 75.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, March 17, 2023 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Donnie Earles officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Assembly of God Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 17,2023 beginning at 1:00 PM.
Judy was born on March 8, 1948 in Marathon, Wisconsin to Julia and Victor Lang. For many years Judy was employed with the sewing factory in Samson, Alabama until it
closed. She then became a housekeeper, where she attended many family homes in the Wiregrass. Ms. Judy enjoyed watching TV with the love of her life Roger, and spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend.
Ms. Cohn was preceded in death by both of her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Roger Harris of Coffee Springs, AL; two daughters, Deborah Cohn of Florida; Deanna (Zach) Snyder of Samson, AL; two sons,
Kevin Harris, and Keith Harris, both of Indiana; two grandsons, Jayce Harris of Indiana, and John Rhykar Snyder of Samson, AL; 6 brothers, Victor (Kathy) Lang, Stanley (Sara) Lang, John (Jane) Lang, Peter (Billie Jean) Lang, and Gene (Marilyn) Lang, all of Wisconsin; Donald (Sandra) Lang of Illinois; 4 sisters, Phyllis Kramer, Gladys (Joseph) Heil, Gloria (Jim) Lang, and Janice (Ed) Bratner, all of Wisconsin; special friends Alford Adams, and Pat Jackson of Samson, AL, along with many other special friends, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Billy and Cindy Harris for being her caregiver the past few years, along with the staff at Wiregrass Medical Center and Nursing for all of their help and care they provided in the past few months during her stay there.
