Julia Ann Ketchum, age 50 of Pansey, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 14, 2021, at Southeast Health, following a brief illness.


The family will hold a memorial service on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at the family residence (2442 Bodiford Road, Pansey, AL), with scattering of the cremated remains at sunset. The family will begin receiving friends at 10am Sunday morning, and a meal will be served at 5pm for all those who wish to attend. Julia Ann was born December 8, 1970 in Ft. Meade, Maryland, to Lucille White. She graduated from Pine Forrest High School in Pensacola, FL, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Public Administration from the University of West Florida. Julia Ann formerly worked in Human Resources for various government agencies before working at Advance Auto Parts where she ultimately retired from. In her spare time, Julia Ann enjoyed gardening, reading, playing video games, and spending time with her “grandchildren”, her many dogs and cats.


In addition to her mother, Julia Ann is survived by her husband, Glen Ketchum of Pansey; a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Jessica Ketchum of Pansey; a daughter, Amanda Ketchum of Pansey; a brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Debra White of Pace, FL.; a sister, Ronda Wood of Pensacola, FL. She was also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Wendy Jay of Headland, as well as several nieces and nephews.
