Mrs. Juliette Ward Shaw of Samson, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2024. She was 91.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Bro. Donnie Earles officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Shaw was born on September 12, 1932 to the late Mallie K. and Mattie Lee Sundy Ward. She was a loving and devoted wife to her late husband, mother to her children and special grandmother to her grandchildren. She was well known among family and friends for her talent of cooking and baking abilities, especially her famous coconut cake. She enjoyed cooking a big pot of dressing and dumplings and watching her family dive in. The love and dedication she had for her family will forever be remembered and cherished. She loved the Lord and was of the Assembly of God faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Shaw and one sister, Christine Wise.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by one son, Billy C. Shaw (LaVella) of Samson, AL; two daughters, Barbara Gail Austin (David) of Whiteville, TN and Diane Brown (Donald) of DeFuniak Springs, FL; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
