Alvin Hershell Pickett, Jr. passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at his home.  He was 81.

Private graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with COL (Ret) Christopher Carlile officiating.  Burial will follow with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30 PM until service time.

Mr. Pickett was preceded in death by 4 sisters; 3 brothers; 2 grandchildren, Hannah and Bruce David Jones and a great-grandchild, Madden Jones.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Sandra Carlile (Chris), Enterprise, AL, Debra Smith (Brad), Naples, FL, Sherry Graczyk (Jim), Naples, FL, Betty Jones (Bruce), Enterprise, AL; son, David Stewart (Kim); Enterprise, AL; 3 brothers, Sam Pickett (Nancy), Thomasville, GA, Leo Pickett (Reba), Ponte Verda Beach, FL, David Pickett (Donna), Glasgow, KY; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
