ABBEVILLE. . .Karen Marlow Money, a resident of Abbeville, died early Friday morning, January 20, 2023, in a Dothan hospital. She was 63.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. Monday, January 23, 2023, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Leon Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M. Monday at the mortuary.

Karen Money was born in Thomaston, Georgia, daughter of the late James William Marlow and Annie Ruth Bailey Marlow. She lived in Riverdale, Georgia before moving to Abbeville in 1986. Karen was formerly employed by Abbeville High School. She was a member of the Pine Mountain Holiness Church in Meansville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Keith Money, and a brother, Paul Gregory Marlow.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Deborah Slater, Valdosta, GA; and Sonya Money, Dothan; a son, James Mathew Money, Abbeville; a sister, Patricia Ann Hinton (Ricky), McDonough, GA; a sister-in-law, Donna Marlow, Griffin, GA; a brother, Danny Marlow, Abbeville; fourteen grandchildren, including special granddaughters, Shelby Hall and Kimberly Ashton; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Joy Wisener, and Gail Messer (Jerry), all of Milner, GA; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Tucker Hinton, and special nieces, Vivian Bayless and Heidi Bayless.
