Kate Baxter a resident of  Dothan, Alabama passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 at her home.  She was 79.

     Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Family First Funeral Care Chapel with Rev. Walter White Jr. officiating.  There will not be a visitation for Ms. Bater.

       Kate Baxter was born on September 8, 1942 to the late Eva Jewel Hawkins and Willie K. Critten.

       Kate was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Dean Baxter, her sisters; Annie Jewel Harrell and Brenda Wade, and one son; Hubert Earl Baxter.

       She leaves to Cherish her loving memories, her daughters: Linda Baxter (Benny), Michelle Baxter, Pam Reid (Eddie), and Lisa Reed (Jeff), her six grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and two friends whom she loved dearly Ruby Malone and Emma Thompson.
