Kathleen T. Graham

Kathleen T. Graham, affectionately known as Kathy, was a beacon of joy and compassion to all who knew her. Born on April 16, 1950, Kathy's life journey began in the heart of Midland City, AL, where she would gain her angel wings on March 15, 2024. Her 73 years were marked by an unwavering faith, boundless love, and a spirit that could ignite laughter in any room.

Kathy's early years were spent in the corridors of Dothan High, from which she graduated in 1970, carrying with her the seeds of the remarkable woman she would become. Her life was a testament to the power of community, as she planted her roots firmly in Midland City, where she was beloved by many. Her professional path reflected her dedication to service and the well-being of those around her, and she was deeply involved in her local associations, contributing her time and energy to various causes.

In her personal life, Kathy's heart was ever-expansive, embracing her role as a mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt with unparalleled warmth. She is survived by a family that adores her: her daughter, Martie (Paul) Albritton; her son, Zack Graham; her sister, Angela (David) Depriest; her cherished grandchildren, Lydia and Chase Albritton, and Tyler Graham; along with several nieces and nephews and their families, who will carry her legacy forward. Kathy's life was also marked by profound love and partnership with her late husband of 40 years, Eddie Graham, who, along with her infant daughters Jamie and Kathy Graham, her parents James and Marilyn Tice, and her grandparents Lena Vickers and John Henry Parker, preceded her in death.

Kathy lived by the belief that "There is nothing to fear with God in your corner," a sentiment that guided her through life's challenges and joys. Her faith was the cornerstone of her existence, inspiring a life filled with love and selflessness that touched everyone she met. To say that Kathy was generous would be an understatement; she was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back without a second thought, always putting others before herself.

A true firecracker, Kathy's vivacious personality was as memorable as her penchant for fashion. Her love for purses and shoes was well-known, and her impeccable style was only outshined by the brightness of her spirit. Her ability to make anyone laugh was a gift that she shared freely, ensuring that her presence was a source of comfort and joy.

Kathy's family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the community of Midland City and beyond, for the outpouring of love and support during this time of loss. Her light will forever shine brightly in the lives she has touched, and her spirit will live on in the kindness we show to one another, following the example she set for us all.

The family would like to express sincere thanks to Day Springs Hospice of Enterprise for the loving care they showed to Kathy, specifically Jessica and Ashley. They would also like to thank Erika of Wiregrass Homecare of Dothan.
