OZARK…. Mrs. Kathy Hughins, a resident of Ozark, died late Tuesday evening, August 13, 2019 in a Dothan hospital. She was 73.

            In keeping with wishes of the family, memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

            Memorial contributions may be made to Alabama Children’s Hospital Foundation, 1600 7^th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35233.

            Mrs. Hughins, daughter of the late Bill Bandy and Trula Faye White, was a native of Huntington, West Virginia and moved to Ozark in 1985. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Cory Huffstutler.

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Stefanie Huffstutler, Ozark and Stacie Martinez (Michael), Skipperville; her son, David Hughins (Amanda), Ozark; her brother, Ben Bandy (Lynda), Live Oak, FL; five grandchildren, Tyler Huffstutler, Lauren Martinez, Talon Martinez, Caraline Hughins, and Easton Hughins; nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive
