Kathy Lynn Paquette returned to her heavenly home on April 25th, 2022 in Dothan, Alabama after a long battle with cancer. She was 62. Kathy’s devotion to her family and her unwavering belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Born October 6th, 1959, Kathy grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her late mother and stepfather, Bette and Walter Freed, and her five brothers and sisters, Kevin Hauglie, Michael Hauglie, Scott Hauglie, Kristine Sudbrink, and Pamela Hauglie. Kathy was blessed with a large and loving family. She raised three children with patience, discipline and humility, teaching them to be generous, work hard, and love with their whole heart.
Kathy was a caring and active woman who spent much of her life thinking and caring about others. She remained a faithful follower of Christ for her entire life and enjoyed being active in all aspects of the church. She always surrounded herself with friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.
Kathy is survived by her three children, Nicholas Paquette (Diana), Krystin Elliott, and Heather Paquette; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Brittney, Kaden, Olivia, Kaelynn, Nicholas, David and Cloe; and two great-grandchildren, Alyx-Lee and Arlo.
The family will be celebrating the life of Kathy, 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 6, 2022 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel. Please join the family in sharing stories about Kathy, laughter, and hugs.
The family would like to express their appreciation of Dayspring Hospice for the care given to their mother.
