KATHY R. CLEMENTS
HEADLAND.…Kathy R. Clements, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Monday morning, December 28, 2020, at a Dothan hospital. She was 50.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Midland City Cemetery with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. All Covid-19 guidelines will be in place. The family will receive friends following the service. The family has requested that after noon on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, that if any family or friend who wishes to come by the funeral home and sign a guest registry and view Kathy, that the may do so. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Kathy was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late Russell Ward and Brenda Sue Burkett Mills. She and her husband Dwayne Clements moved to Headland in 2001. Kathy enjoyed working for Hardee’s of Headland for many years. She never met a stranger.
Along with Kathy’s father, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Sue Ward.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband, Dwayne Curtis Clements; her children, Angel Thomas (Ken) of Baker Hill, Roxy Lacy (Tim) of Headland, Lonnie Earl Folds Jr. (Ashley) of Midland City; and her mother & stepfather, Brenda Sue Burkett Mills and James Mills of Headland; her sisters, Lenitha Beasley of Abbeville, AL, Chris Folds (Earl) of Midland City, AL, Janie Sue Ward of Headland, AL, and Judy George of Headland, AL; her grandchildren, Sanyia Thomas, Brooklyn Christy, Kendra Thomas, Iyanna Granger, Jakyius Granger, Jacob Lacy, Liam Folds, Raylynn Folds, Zachary Hysmith, Sara Beth Hysmith, Seth Hysmith, and Savanna Heath, and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Ken Thomas, Tim Lacy, Teddy Folds, Lonnie Folds, Jessie Stephens and Terry Farness.
