Kathy Teresa (May) Martin, 63, a resident of Ozark, died Friday, June 5, 2015 at Dale Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Charles Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Barrancas National Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service time.

Mrs. Martin was born November 3, 1951 in Laurel, Ms. to Robert and Jacquelyn May.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Kathy loved her family and friends. She was a lifelong animal lover. She was proud of her Indian heritage, was an avid shopper, and enjoyed cruising with the sunroof open listening to her favorite music. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.  

She is survived by her husband, James Martin of Ozark; a daughter, Debbie Ashcraft; two sons, John Miller (Rebecca) and Kenneth Martin; a sister, Lisa May; a brother, Steve May (Heidi); seven grandchildren, Almee Miller, Ashley Miller, Rowyne Ashcraft, Joshua Ashcraft, Jacob Miller, Benjamin Saxon and Zoie Miller; two great grandchildren, Pheanyx Miller and Jagger Hughes, and a lifelong friend, Sheila Walker.
