Kenneth D. Richmann, a resident of Ozark, Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at his residence. He was 61 years old.


The family will receive friends at Sunset Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 11 am – 12 pm. A graveside service will follow at 12 pm on Wednesday in the Sunset Memorial Park Helicopter Pavilion with Brother Earls officiating. Flowers will be accepted.


Kenneth was born on February 13, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri and lived the early years of his life in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was a 1979 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and was employed in the construction field all of his working career. Kenneth moved to Dothan in 1990 where he owned and operated Cable Unlimited, Inc. for 24 years. He worked for Equix Construction in Pensacola, FL for several years before retiring to Dothan where he owned and operated Richmann Utilities and was a contractor with Southeast Alabama Gas District. Being on the water, boating and riding his Harley with his family and friends was also a favorite pastime. Kenneth was a loving and caring family man who really enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.


Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber and by his father, Odell Richmann.


Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Eva Richmann; his son, Ian (Amber) Richmann; his daughter, Abby (Tristan) Pierson; his step-son, Clint Browning; his 12 grandchildren; his 3 great-grandchildren; and by his mother, Mary Tipsword.
