Kenneth E. Cunningham, Sr. of Dothan, passed away on February 22, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 65.


Graveside services will be 2 pm Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Midland City Cemetery with Rev. Everett Rowe officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.


Mr. Cunningham was born October 17, 1947 in Midland City and resided there the early part of his life. He has been a resident of Dothan for his entire adult life. He enjoyed refurbishing old cars and was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and B.L. Cunningham.


He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Cunningham; one son Ken Cunningham Jr. (Jodi); one daughter Valerie Chandler; a very special friend Debra Kilcrease; eight grandchildren, Katie and Cori Majors, Robbie Schnick, Brooke Chandler, Shane, Haley, Savana and Paisleigh Cunningham; five sisters and one brother.


The family would like to extend gratitude to Dr. Cook and Gentiva Hospice for their loving care and support.
