DOTHAN . . . Kenneth James (Ken) Croft, a resident of New South Wales, Australia, formerly of Dothan, died Sunday night, August 3, 2014, of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident which occurred in New South Wales. He was 52.


 


            Graveside services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, August 17, 2014, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland & Dothan, with the Reverend Clyde F. Risen , Resident Pastor of Exodos Ministries, Inc. officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:45 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary.


 


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Exodos Ministries, PO Box 1710, Crestview, FL  32536


 


            Ken Croft was born in Plant City, Florida and was reared in Echo, Alabama. He was a graduate of Dale County High School and Troy State University, Dothan.  He lived most of his lifetime in Dothan before moving to New South Wales where he was employed as a Picker Mechanic and later Farm Manager of Wirricanna. Ken was preceded in death by his father, William Grady Croft, Jr.


 


            Surviving relatives include two sons, Spencer Croft and Colby Croft, both of Dothan; his mother, Kate Dasinger Croft, Dothan; two sisters, Judy Croft Van Dyke (Jerry), Auburn, AL; and Debbie Croft Kirkland (Thomas), Headland


 


Serving as active pall bearers will be Ronald Croft, Warren Dasinger, Mike Driver, Johnathan Galloway, Nathan Keuber, and Russell Sansom.
