Kenneth L. White passed away, September 23, 2017 at his home with his wife of 58 years by his side and Southern Care Hospice.


Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday , September 25, 2017 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Dr. Bradley Rushing, Associate Pastor Michael Lawson and Southern Care Hospice Chaplain Kathy Stumbaugh officiating.  Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Harford, AL.


The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.


Kenneth was born on December 16, 1937. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Ft. Rucker as an Aircraft Electrician where he worked from 1967-1999.He was a devoted family man who loved his church family at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Dothan, Al.


He is survived by his wife, Earlene White; two sons, Michael L. White and wife Ellen, Kenny A. White and wife Wilma; daughter, Donna K. Moss and husband Tracy; three granddaughters, Amy Hurley, Brittany K. Lindsey and husband Branden, and Mandy White; three grandsons, Joshua White , Zachary Holland and Nathan White; two great-granddaughters, Makenzie Hurley and Kayleigh Lindsey; three great-grandsons, Conner Hurley, Landen Lindsey and Aiden Hurley; adopted family, Tracy , Clara, and Reagan Isom, Brother Eldridge White and wife Annette, Sister Melba Rush and husband Ron; Sister-in-laws, Annie Ruth White, Loudine  Killingsworth, Linda Cobb and husband Ronnie and Sandra Nall; and numerous  nieces and nephews.


Mr. White is preceded in death by son, Steven Carl White; grandson, Stephen Thomas White, parents, L.T. and Ruth White; brothers, Joe White and James White.


The family of Mr. White would like to say thank you for all the support and care given to our father and husband during his illness.
