HEADLAND. . .Kenneth Mark Elliott, a resident of Headland, died early Thursday morning, May 9, 2024, in a Dothan hospital. He was 47.

            A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 11, 2024,  in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel.

            Mark Elliott was a lifelong resident of Headland and a 1995 graduate of Headland High School. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Dothan. Mark was employed by Dunbarton Corporation as a Machinist. He was preceded in death by his father, George Elliott, Jr., a sister, Mara Kaye Elliott, his grandparents, Roy and Wyllette Gamble and George and Arietta Elliott, an uncle, Kenny Gamble, and an aunt, Shirley Lamb.

            Surviving relatives include his daughter, Kirstin Elliott Cuevas (Marcos Cuevas-Prado), his mother, Marsha Gamble Elliott, all of Headland; grandchildren, Silas Cuevas and Lizel Cuevas, a sister, Michele Elliott, an uncle, Steve Gamble (Marilyn), an aunt Vera Carr (Danny), several cousins including special cousins, Tracie Whitehead (Wesley), Greg Anderson (Kymmie), Adam Gamble, Kaylee Harrison, Jessica Carr and Courtney Blankenship (Tyler).
