Kenneth Michael Hubbert, 63, of Dothan passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at his residence.


Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, April 2, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.


Mr. Hubbert was born July 8, 1948 in Tuscaloosa, AL and lived the early part of his life there graduating from high school in Birmingham. He later resided in Atlanta, GA, Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Pensacola, FL prior to moving to Dothan in 1999. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Hubbert, his step-father Hill Rigby and his father-in-law Bill Newton.


Survivors include his wife Cindy Hubbert of Dothan; his mother Margaret Hubbert Rigby of Pensacola, FL; mother-in-law Jeanette Newton of Dothan; sisters, Kathy Oswald of Pensacola, FL, and Helen Spence of Pensacola, FL; a brother-in-law David Newton; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Spence (Phillip) Griffith, Christy Watkins, Felicia (Matt) Reeves, Chase Oswald, and Brad Oswald.


Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Green, Wesley Green, Johnny Whatley, Paul Meadows, Chase Oswald, and Brad Oswald.
