Little Miss Kenzly Lynn Moody of Samson, Alabama was escorted to heaven on angel wings Friday, November 27, 2015.  She was eight years old.


Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Samson First Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Totten officiating.  Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Assembly of God Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, November 30, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m.


Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Freeze in Florala.


Kenzly was born July 20, 2007, in Coffee County, Alabama.  She enjoyed coloring, playing dress up, dancing, spending time outdoors, but especially playing basketball.  She loved her brothers and sisters dearly.  Her smile was radiant and would light up the darkest room or brighten the dimmest day.  Kenzly attended the First Baptist Church in Samson and was in the 3rd grade at the Baptist Academy.


Her grandparents, Betty Jean Carroll, Lelon and Rachel Spicer, along with Buck and Shelby Jean Simmons preceded her in death.


Survivors include her father and step mother, Joseph and Jennifer Moody; mother, Amber Dawn Spicer, all of Samson; brothers and sisters: Ryan Miller and Hailie Miller both of Samson, Aubrie Kay Nevels and Branson Nevels both of Opp; grandparents, Kim (Donna) Spicer and Shawn Salter of Samson, Dykes (Betty Sue) Moody of Opp; several special cousins, other family and friends.
