Kerry Anita Dollarhide-Entz

Kerry Anita Dollarhide-Entz, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her residence. She was 53 years old.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Monsignor Patrick Gallagher officiating.

Kerry was born in Florence, Alabama on March 14, 1968 and grew up in Mobile, Alabama. She was a graduate of Davidson High School. Kerry got her undergraduate and master’s degrees from South Alabama. She was employed with City Programs and transitioned to teaching in Mobile County Schools until her retirement. Kerry moved to Dothan where she reconnected with and married Doug Entz. She relished time with her family, cooking, listening to music, reading, she loved singing karaoke, and crafts of all sorts.

Kerry was preceded in death by her father, Dan M. Dollarhide.

Survivors include her husband, Doug Entz; her sons, Grant Lackey and Ben Lackey; her mother, Anita Dollarhide; her mother and father-in-law, Bill and Lou Entz; her siblings, Dan K. (Brooke) Dollarhide, Kate (Dustin) Moore, Cassie Dollarhide, Mike (Lorraine) Entz, Steve (Annette) Entz, and Linda (Mike) Campbell; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her K-9 companion, Ella.
