HEADLAND, AL… Kevin Wesley Faison, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away Wednesday morning, February 1, 2023, at a Dothan hospital. He was 62.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Kinsey Baptist Church with Reverend Brad Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Headland Fire & Rescue, 456 E. Main Street, Headland, Alabama 36345 or the Alzheimer’s Foundation, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001, www.alzfdn.org.
Mr. Faison was born in Dothan, Alabama to Martha Sanders Faison and the late Alfred W. Faison. He lived his entire life in the Kinsey, Alabama area before moving to Headland, Alabama two years ago. He was a 1980 graduate of Headland High School. He enjoyed working with Jeff Golden with his entertainment business. He also worked with WTVY 95.5 as the station’s mascot, “Country Critter”. He is retired with the State of Alabama DOT. He loved his church, “Kinsey Baptist Church”, so much that a former minister made the comment “that he had done every job at the church, except for preach”.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his mother, Martha Sanders Faison; his sister, Kelli Faison Dahl (Mike); his brother, Keith Todd Faison (Christie); his nieces and nephews, David Dahl (Jacquelyn), Justin Dahl, Ryan Burgess, Tracy Suggs (Jeremy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gracie Suggs, Jaycee Suggs, Logan Suggs, and Parker Dahl.
