Larry Alan Kent, Sr., of Daleville, AL, passed away, Friday, June 14, 2024 at his home.  He was 83.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at First United Methodist Church in Daleville with Rev. Lee Jones and Rev. Larry Magwood officiating.  Burial with full Military Honors will follow in Daleville Memorial Gardens with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until service time. 

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Carol Kent, and two sons, Charles Steven Kent and Lane Anthony Kent.

Survivors include his four daughters, Lore Kent Paloor (Matthew), Inverness, FL; Lynn Kent Sumner (David), Oklahoma City, OK; Lisa Kent Reimer (Shane) Enterprise, AL; Stacy Kent Curry (J.C.), Ozark, AL; two sons, Larry Alan Kent, Jr. (Eulanda), Daleville, AL; Louis Kent (Carrie), Enterprise, AL; sister, Karen Kent, Houston, TX; brother, Steven Kent, Las Vegas, NV; eleven grandchildren, April, Russell, Elizabeth, Valerie, Dakota, Raychelle, Caitlyn, Wesley, Codie, Christopher, Joshua; ten great-grandchildren.
