Larry Hatfield, 63, a resident of Dothan passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at his residence.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwight Deal officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Children's Miracle Network.
Mr. Hatfield was born December 9, 1952 in Englewood, CO and lived the early part of his life in Whittier, CA where he graduated from Pioneer High School in 1971. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served for 4 years. He married on October 26, 1974 and resided in La Habra prior to moving to Andalusia in 1991 and then to Dothan in 1997. He has been employed with the Dothan Surgery Center for the past 15 years. Larry was an avid Denver Broncos Fan, loved to spend time with his grandchildren, and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Mr. Hatfield was preceded in death by his father, Carl Hatfield; his mother, Patricia Linder; his step-dad, Jerry Trippy; his brother, Steve Hatfield.
Survivors include his wife Martha Hatfield; his sons, Josh (Rachel) Hatfield and Jeff (Katherine) Hatfield; grandchildren, Sydney, Madison, Ryan, Emily, William, and Henry; his brother, Jerry Trippy and Laura Trippy; his mother-in-law, Betty Killough.
