Mr. Larry Jack Fowler of Dothan passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018. He was 74.
Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 1130 to 1 P.M., hour and half prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
Mr. Fowler was born August 29, 1943 to the late John Alva Fowler and Gwendolyn Johnson. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, a lay leader and in many other capacities in the community. He was an avid Crimson Tide and Cottonwood Bears fan, an educator with Houston County Board of Education, coach at Cottonwood High, principal at Cottonwood High School, and retired as Curriculum Coordinator with HCBOE.
Mr. Fowler is preceded in death by his parents, and father-in-law, James A. Fowler.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Fowler of Dothan; sons, Bucky Fowler (Robin) of Dothan, Dustin Fowler (Tara) of Dothan; brothers, Michael Fowler (Pat) of Mobile, Al; grandchildren, Cade Fowler, Judson Fowler, and Rhett Fowler.
