Mr. Larry Norman Jackson, Sr., a resident of Ozark, died Friday, November 29, 2024, in Birmingham Veterans Healthcare Center. He was 77 years old.

Private graveside services and interment will be held at a later date in Fort Mitchell National Veterans Cemetery with Holman Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Jackson was born November 5, 1947 in Dale County, Alabama to the late Edsel Matthews Jackson and Alma Jean Byrd Jackson.  Larry enjoyed his career as a truck driver.  He was a lover of life and enjoyed making people smile.  Larry was an avid outdoorsman and Alabama fan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Nicolette Jackson; and one brother, Terry Jackson.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Aileen Johnson and Stephanie Jackson; one son, Larry Jackson Jr.;  two sisters, Benie Adkinson (Durl) and Diane Howell; one brother, Edsel Jackson Jr. (Kathy).
