Laura Etoula Roberts West, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at her daughter's residence. She was 93.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 23, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 pm on Sunday.

Mrs. West was born December 24, 1923 in Dale County to Lloyd and Della Roberts and lived the early years of her life in the Ewell Community. She resided in Dothan for the past 60 years. Mrs. West was a homemaker and a member of Taylor Assembly of God Church.

Mrs. West was predeceased by her husband, William R. West; her daughter, Geraldine Attaway; 3 brothers, Louie Frank Roberts, Virgil Roberts and Shelburn Roberts; and her brother-in law, Wyndell Woodham.

She is survived by a daughter, Jessica (Blake) West Sanders; a grandson, Tripp Sanders; a brother, Paul (Jackie) Roberts; a sister, Nancy Woodham; a sister-in-law, Elaine Roberts; several nieces and nephews including, Pamela Barnhill, Mildred McCall and Marie Enfinger; and her beloved pet, Molly Beth.
