LAURIE DEESE EARNEST
DOTHAN... Laurie Ann Deese Earnest, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Sunday morning, March 31, 2024, at her home. She was 51.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband, Ben Earnest; her daughters, Baylee Earnest (Blaine Sellers) and Audrey Earnest; and her sister, Carol Bolin (Jimmy); and Mary Ann Adams Earnest.
Mrs. Earnest was born in Dothan, Alabama on November 2, 1972, to the late L D and Patricia Deese. She lived her childhood in Cottonwood, Alabama, and was a 1991 graduate of Cottonwood High School. She then graduated from Troy State University with a degree in Secondary Education. Her love for children continued in her career as she worked as a court specialist with the State of Alabama at the Houston County Court House. She was a Cottonwood First Baptist Church member for most of her life and had tremendous faith in her spiritual walk with Christ.
She was a wonderful wife and mother, an avid reader, and loved to travel. She enjoyed the many Disney trips her family took together and cruising to anywhere in the Caribbean.
Above all else, was her devotion to her husband and two daughters. To know her was to love her beautiful soul and kind spirit.
A private service will be held at a later date with her close family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage memorial contributions to the
Cottonwood First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 427, Cottonwood, Alabama 36320.
