ASHFORD. . .Laurie  Janine Faulkner, a resident of Ashford, died early Friday evening, December 4, 2020, in a Dothan hospital. She was 53.

       Memorial services will be held at a later date in Sylacauga, Alabama

       Laurie Faulkner was born and reared in Sylacauga, Alabama. She lived in Midland City before moving to Ashford in 2013. Laurie was employed in the insurance department at Dothan Specialty Clinic. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen Ruth Faulkner.

       Surviving relatives include her father, Clifford Eugene Faulkner and step-mother, Dorothy Faulkner, Sylacauga, AL; a sister, Lisa Thompson Cosby (Dennis Earl Cosby), Ashford; a brother, David Faulkner (Debra), Sylacauga; a nephew,  Michael Chase Etress (Kylie), two great-nieces, Jocelyn Etress and Anna Etress and a great-nephew on the way.
