CLIO… Brenda Carol Spicer (Hebrew name Leavav Hinneh En Gedi), a resident of Clio, died Saturday afternoon, December 9, 2023, at her home. She was 56.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 14, 2023, in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jeremy Meetze officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark is in charge of arrangements.
Brenda was born July 9, 1967, in Ozark, Alabama. She was a 1986 graduate of Daleville High School. She formerly lived in Ozark, Daleville, and Savannah, Georgia before moving to Clio in 2017. She was a loving person who enjoyed spending time on the property in Clio and being with her family.
Surviving relatives include her husband, William Spicer, Ozark, two sons, Patrick McDaniel, Ozark and Ethan Spicer, Clio; her father, Mr. Jerry Bass, Ozark and mother, Shirley Chancey Bass, Ozark; two brothers, Michael Bass, Ozark and Joel Bass, Headland; niece and nephews, Matthew Bass, Brannon Bass, and Courtney Gilmer (Sam); stepchildren, Brandie Ayala-Vargas (Cristian Ayala Vargas), Samantha Spicer, and Will Spicer (Christina); four grandchildren.
