Mr. Lenius Lane Moore of Geneva, AL passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 79 years old.

 Graveside services will be held at the Hartford City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 with Rev. Ricky Hall officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., at which time they will depart for the cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Maple Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 1009 W. Maple Avenue, Geneva, AL 36340.

 Lane was born in Newbern, NC on March 31, 1945 to the late Lenius Holt Moore and Sarah Lane (Moore) Feiler. He retired from the Civil Service at Ft. Rucker in transportation. He was a faithful member of Maple Avenue Baptist Church for several years. He loved his church family and enjoyed being an active part of the congregation. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Moore Roberts.

 Lane is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Jan Moore of Geneva, AL; one son, David Moore and wife, Leslie of Portland, OR and one granddaughter, Ashley Wells of Dothan, AL.
