Mr. Leonard Stanley Brozoski, age 86, passed away at his residence in Enterprise, AL on Thursday, February 21, 2013, surrounded by his family.
A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 10 am at Our Lady of Loretta Main Post Chapel at Fort Rucker with Father Hieu Ha officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home Monday from 6 until 8 pm with a Rosary being said at 7 pm. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Len was born November 5, 1926, in Shamokin, PA, to Veronica and Stanley Brozoski. He has lived in Enterprise, AL for the past 40 years. He was retired from Singer-Link Corporation where he was employed as an electronics technician responsible for installing and maintaining flight simulators. Len was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served as a SeaBee during World War II and Radioman during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, particularly enjoying being in the woods. Len was a self-taught mechanic, craftsman, and builder, who often spent time helping neighbors and friends with home and automobile repair projects. Having his family together around the dinner table brought Len great enjoyment.
Mr. Len was preceded in death by his parents, Veronica and Stanley Brozoski, step-mother, Rose Brozoski, and his sisters, Catherine Hertzog and Dorothy Beresky.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Brozoski, Enterprise; sons: Frederick Brozoski and Kevin Brozoski (Mary), Dothan; sister, Marie Snyder, Birdsboro, PA; brother, Stanley Brozoski, Wilmington, DE; several nieces and nephews; as well as his extended family in Canada, Ken and Gen Littlewood and their children.
