Lessie Cardwell Cothern of Geneva passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at her home. She was 82 years old.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at Shady Grove Assembly of God Church with Bro. Donnie Earles officiating.

Mrs. Cothern was born on November 21, 1937 to the late E.F and Mattie Mae Sasser Cardwell. She enjoyed fishing, working in the church, and being with her grandchildren. But above all else, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, and four brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Quattlebaum (Ricky); three sons, Wayne Cothern (Cathy), Wade Cothern, and Ricky Cothern; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
