Lillian Ann Martin, 80, a resident of Dothan passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at her home.


Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Plummer and Pastor Roger Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.


Mrs. Martin was born February 5, 1935 in Dale County, Alabama and was a graduate of Midland City High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She also was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie Casey; her daughter, Lynette Goodson; her granddaughter, Amber Taylor.


Survivors include her husband Kenneth E. Martin, Sr.; her daughters, Brenda Kelley and Melanie Cantrell; step-son, Kenneth E. Martin, Jr.; step-daughter, Teresa Ann Weckman; grandchildren, Jonathan Taylor, Keith Cantrell, Emma Rice, and Casey Taylor; her great-grandchildren, Logan, Keegan and Aaliyah Cantrell; step-grandson Austin Martin; a sister Martha Arnold; several nieces and nephews.
