Lillian Earlene Warr of Samson passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015.  She was 91.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015 at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wynese Lolley officiating and Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.


Prior to her retirement, Miss Warr worked in the textile mills for many years.  She attended New Home Baptist Church.  In her pastime she loved to raise chickens.  She was born on May 25, 1923 to the late Warren Warr and Lillie Elentar Lolley Warr. She was also preceded in death by a special cousin, Max Mims; and her aunt, Savannah Robertson. She is survived by four first cousins, Annie Mae Kennington of Samson, Johnnie Ausley of Geneva, James Lolley (Valinda) and John A. Lolley (Wynese), all of Samson; second cousins, Emmitt Mims (Susan), Anthony Mims (Janie), and Eddie Kennington.
