Linda Ann Cotton Bryant of Samson, AL passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024. She was 81 years old.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 09, 2024 in the Shady Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev. Donnie Earles and Rev. Dustin Wise officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

 Linda was born on March 18, 1943 in Geneva County, AL to the late Wilmer Lee and Vera Mae Smith Cotton. She retired from the Geneva County Health Department as an LPN for several years, where she was a blessing to many throughout her nursing career. She was a faithful member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Linda enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing and enjoying a delicious bowl of ice cream.

 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Truitt Marsh; two sisters, Margie Maxine Warren and Glenda Crews; brother-in-law, James Bryant and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Jordan

 Mrs. Linda is survived by her husband of 65 years, J.K. Bryant; daughter, Sheila Morgan (Danny); son, Kenny Bryant (Teresa), all of Samson, AL; grandchildren, Leah Morgan Jensen (Kurt) of Hartford, AL, Heath Morgan (Angelia) of Black, AL, Dakon Vandegrift (Brianne) of Silverhill, AL, Slade Vandegrift (Ashley) of Chancellor, AL and six great granddaughters; a number of special nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends, who will dearly miss her.

 Serving as her pallbearers will be Heath Morgan, Dakon Vandegrift, Slade Vandegrift, Kurt Jensen, Andy Crews and Keith Crews.
