Linda Annette (Webb) Stewart, loving mother and grandmother, went to her heavenly home with the Lord on Monday, February 13, 2023.

Linda was born on August 30, 1948, in Houston County, AL to the late John Dalton and Mary Lenora (Anderson) Webb.

Although Linda moved to Houston, TX many years ago, her heart was always in her hometown of Dothan, AL and she remained an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. Cheering on her favorite football team was one of her favorite things to do, but football would take a backseat when it came to all of her grandchildren, whom she loved to spend time with more than anything.

Linda had a very successful career in banking and worked for many different banks over the years. She worked her way up from a teller to a vice president role in the loan division. She had many co-workers that she became close friends with. Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 - " And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ."

Linda leaves to cherish her memories, her children John Garreth (“Gary”) Stewart and wife, Laurie Stewart of Sugar Land, TX, Bradley “Lee” Stewart and fiancé, Jessica Gunn of La Porte, TX; grandchildren, Cody John Dalton Stewart and wife, Heather Stewart of Katy, TX, Cory Austin Stewart of Sugar Land, TX, Courtney Ann Marie Stewart of Sugar Land, TX, Hunter Cole Stewart of La Porte, TX, and newly born great-grandson, Wesley Parker Stewart of Katy, TX; brother, Kenneth Webb and wife Dianne Webb of Rehobeth, AL; sisters, Gail (Webb) Givens of Dothan, AL, Mary (Webb) Tolar and husband, Wayne Tolar of Midland City, AL, Betty Ann (Webb) Brackin and husband, Jackie Brackin of Dothan, AL; her former spouse, James “Larry” Stewart of Houston, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Linda’s grandchildren, Cody Stewart, Cory Stewart, Hunter Stewart, along with her nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Mt. Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Christopher Dunnam officiating
