Mrs. Linda Gale Parker Underwood of Coffee Springs, Alabama passed away on June 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was 72.

A  Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Coffee Springs.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until service time.

Mrs. Underwood was born on March 31, 1946 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Pleasant Leonidus and Rita McGillick Parker, Jr. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and G’ma.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Brent Underwood of Coffee Springs, AL; one son, David Underwood (Andrea) of Montgomery, AL; one daughter, Stephanie Walden of Enterprise, AL; two granddaughters, Payton and Harper Underwood; one brother-in-law, Dwight Underwood (Jennifer) of Opp, AL; two sisters-in-law, Jody Lawson of Titusville, FL, and Jill Underwood (George Furber) of Jacksonville, FL and many nieces and nephews.
