OZARK…Ms. Linda Gayle Jones, a resident of Ozark, died early Sunday morning, May 24, 2020 in Oakview Manor Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was 68.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel of Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home with her nephew, Johnny “Butch” Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of her sister, Barbara Andrews, 2028 Campground Road, Ozark, Alabama.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, 1314 Westgate Parkway, Suite 2, Dothan, Alabama 36303.
Ms. Jones, daughter of the late Mozell German and Doris Parks German, was a native of Ozark. She was a 1969 graduate of Carroll High School in Ozark. Ms. Jones lived in Washington State and West Point, Georgia before returning to the Ozark area in 2005. She was formerly employed with Lewis-Smith Supply Company in Enterprise. Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her brother, Larry German and her best K-9 friend, Dottie.
Surviving relatives include three daughters, Angie Morgan (Randy), Fayetteville, AR; Shelli Outlaw (Jerry), Panama City Beach, FL and Kelly Ratliff (Mike), Phenix City, AL; her sister, Barbara Andrews, Ozark; nine grandchildren, Hunter VanBrunt, Karlee Stonesifer, Trenton Carroll, Dawson Carroll, Brody Carroll, Jacob Ratliff, Luke Ratliff, Will Ratliff, Kyndall Ratliff; and other relatives.
