Linda Reynolds Brunson passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Vickers officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Linda was born on February 24, 1934, in Westville, FL to the late C.P. and Annie Bell Reynolds. “Memaw” as she was affectionally known by her grandchildren, was a homemaker. She traveled alongside her husband during his military career. Upon his retirement, they resided in Geneva, AL. She enjoyed gardening, being outside and keeping their home in order. Memaw was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted her life to taking care of her special needs daughter, Patricia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Donald Hugh “Huey” Brunson; one sister, Thelma Cooy.

She is survived by one son, Donnie (Angie) Brunson; daughter, Patricia Brunson; four grandsons, Jonathan Thomas Brunson, Joseph Hayden Brunson, James Donald Brunson, and Jay Reynolds Brunson; one great grandson, Landon Brock Brunson all of Geneva, AL; one sister, Ethel Gurr of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, J.C. Reynolds of Bonifay, FL; and a numerous nieces and nephews.

Her four grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
